Board Member – Elected 2025
Ashley McIvor is the Managing
Director of McIvor Plumbers
& Gasfitters Wanaka Ltd and
represents the third generation of her family to lead
the business.
Her grandfather founded the original
company in Dunedin over 74 years ago, a legacy
continued by her father, Stu McIvor, and now by
Ashley in Wanaka.
Ashley has served as President of the Master
Plumbers Queenstown Lakes Branch since February
2024 and was a member of the Rockgas Franchise
Advisory Council from 2019 to 2023.
In 2024, she was
the inaugural Master Plumbers Board Intern, a role
that sparked her strong interest in governance and
strategic leadership.
Elected to the Master Plumbers Board in 2025,
Ashley brings a future-focused perspective and
a strong commitment to industry development.
She is actively engaged in director training and is
particularly passionate about supporting the sector
through key transitions, including renewable energy
integration, the advancement of apprentices, and the
evolving role of AI in business.
