Apprentice Representative Group
The Master Plumbers Apprentice Representative Group aims to provide a platform for plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying apprentices to actively contribute to the PGD industry, representing apprentice interests, fostering growth, and encouraging leadership within the industry.

Eligibility
- All current plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying apprentices associated with Master Plumbers members, and Masterlink apprentices, are eligible to apply.
- Apprentices may also be nominated by their employer or Master Plumbers member business.
Application Overview
- Apprentice representatives will actively participate in meetings and discussions, bringing the apprentice perspective to the forefront.
- They will engage in initiatives to improve the apprentice experience, skills development, and industry representation.
- Apprentice representatives will collaborate with the Master Plumbers Board and share insights at designated events.
Application Process
To apply for the Apprentice Representative Group, please follow these steps:
- Prepare your application materials:
- Write a cover letter detailing why you wish to join the Apprentice Representative Group and what unique perspectives or contributions you can bring.
- Prepare your CV showcasing your qualifications, experience, and involvement in the plumbing, gasfitting, or drainlaying industry.
- Submit your application:

- Application Deadline:
- The 2023 application period is now closed.
Selection Process
- A selection panel consisting of existing Apprentice Representative Group members and Master Plumbers representatives will review all applications.
- Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview as part of the selection process.
Notification of Results
- All applicants will be notified of the selection outcomes.
